Bellevue Washington Art
The Bellevue Arts Museum is seeking artists, designers and creators of all kinds working in Washington, D.C., Washington State or other parts of the United States to apply for the 2021 BAM Architecture & Urban Design Biennial, which is scheduled to open in November 2021. The construction of a new museum in this fast-growing city of more than 1.5 million people is contributing to its reputation as one of the leading performing arts destinations in Washington.

It provides art lovers from across the Pacific Northwest with access to performing arts and hundreds of local artists performing in over 100 companies. Works can also be found in the Seattle Public Art Program and the city's Public Arts Center.
Seattle is home to one of the largest concentrations of artists in the United States, led largely by the technology - the know-how - of how the city has cultivated itself. Eligibility will be limited to artists currently living, working or studying in or from the Pacific Northwest region, which includes, but is not limited to, the scope of this exhibition. Once the exhibit is assembled, BAM Curatorial staff will review it and award a $10,000 scholarship and two years of residency at Seattle Public Arts Center to a recipient.

In addition to collecting a wide range of works of art, the Community's responsibilities also include its duties. The Kunstmuseum Bellevue has been designated as a new focus of research, as there is no permanent art collection or museum in the city. In fact, no museum has a permanent collection, but works with local art and educational institutions to offer temporary exhibitions, educational programs and other educational opportunities.
Downtown Everett is an area designated home by the Seattle Performing Arts Center and the Snohomish County Arts Commission. Although Everett is largely a destination for artists from around the country, it also serves as the home base of the snohumish County Arts Council and home to the Everett Art Museum.
