Bellevue Washington Hilton Hotel
SEATTLE - BUSINESS WIRE - Wig Properties, a leading national hotel owner, investor and operator, today announced that it has been awarded the contract to operate the Washington Hilton Hotel in Bellevue, Washington following the recent sale of the property to TIG Properties. A 24-year-old man arrested last week at a Bellevue hotel is now facing charges of inciting prostitution, tampering with a witness and violating a court order, according to King County. Isaiah Kanehisa - Glenn was arrested in the lobby of the hotel at around 1.30pm on Monday, August 7, and the prosecution said the agents also learned that he had been arrested by Seattle police in July for possession of a firearm with intent to murder, assault and robbery.
According to the indictment, Kanehisa-Glenn had advertised on several prostitution websites, including for a sex worker at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Bellevue, and then used his personal cell phone to arrange a meeting. Prosecutors said the suspect also received several calls from prison after the prostitutes were arrested, asking women to call and influence the victim.
The agent called the number in the ad, pretended to be a buyer and arranged a meeting at the hotel. The Bellevue detectives arrived on the floor where the room was located and waited for the agent to inform the person by phone of his arrival at the hotel. A few seconds later, investigators reported that the woman had left her room through the balcony and climbed up to get to the other unit.
Police took her inside, confirmed she was the woman at the post and arrested her on suspicion of prostitution. The agent also noted that the victim in this case appeared to be the same woman featured in an online ad. Investigators quickly identified Kanehisa and Glenn and arrested them, but left the room shortly after, according to prosecutors. According to the Seattle case, KaneHisa Green demanded $3,000 from the same woman, assaulted her and later sent a threat to kill her.
The other told them about someone who had been on the property before, according to court documents, but did not mention the victim's name.
